In the left margin (and in the middle of the text) of this page is a clock. This clock isn’t there for nothing. It is not only for knowing what is the time....time flies when you sit behind the pc......but the clock is there for an important exercise.

On another web page it is claimed that time does not exist. At least that we do not travel with in the time as it were a train. I am coping for years with the concept 'time'.  I will reveal here the secret of time.

We are in our conscience always Present, Now. The clock-time is a criterion of measuring the distance between events, but in reality all events in your life take place Now. Events which are past, have taken place only in our memory, as an idea, and remembered as a feeling which we had, or as a newspaper bulletin, that we can read.

But…..

You can eat only now, only now you can feel the beating of your heart, now you can feel pain etc.  What happened yesterday is a remembrance, what you hope will happen tomorrow is an expectation. And they both are forms of thinking!

You are in reality only here, now. Also when you are asleep. You can frequently remember your dreams. That what you remember has really taken place, therefore your were there -NOW- when you dreamed. There are people who experience a dream consciously (I did), therefore they know for sure that you dream in the presence.

We observe time. We can observe time, because we ourselves are not in time. You’ll have to be out of time to see time. We adopt an another position. We stand in another dimension. Whereas the visible and the objects are submitted to time (including our body) we ourselves are - as an observer - not submitted to time. We are timeless. We are therefore no part of what we see!!!!

Well that’s the story..... And that applies to all readers of this page. For everyone. Our real existence is not in this world.

O.k. we are now at the spot where the clock is visible. We will experience now that the bell is a moving instrument of measuring time, but that he does not stipulate the time. Put on paper the actual time before you start with the exercise.

Look at the clock, see how the hand moves, how slow the minute indicator moves, and say to yourself: " it is now, now, still it is now, I am always in the present, whereas I see the clock is going around. I’m still in this Moment, whereas the minutes pass by, according to the minute indicator of the clock". Be quiet now. Simply observe the clock. Minutes have passed. You are still here & now all that time......And the clock indicated that it is minutes later.

End of the exercise.....and what are the conclusions?

You are here and now and the world (represented by the clock) passed by. You keep looking, but you are no part of the changes. You are no part of time. Yes, your person, your body, but not that what you really are. Your presence, your awareness.

You were always Here, as an observer of your existence as a baby, as a small child, when you first fell in love, and Now –this moment- you are still here, invariably (although the mirror seems to suggest something else). Yes, everything what you observe, changes permanently, but you as conscious being, are here all the time. Always Now. Unchanged and nowhere to be found. Because change is time.... And when your body falls apart, you’ll still be here, because you are not the body. You are the observer of the body and everything what coincides with that.
